When you access the website, technically necessary connection data is processed. This may include your IP address, date and time of access, page requested, volume of data transferred, browser, operating system, referring URL, and status and error data.

This processing is necessary to operate the website securely and reliably, detect attacks and resolve technical errors. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functional website under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Technical log data is retained only as long as necessary for operation, security and error analysis, and then deleted or anonymised, unless a legal retention obligation or a specific security incident requires longer retention.

When you contact us through the contact form, by email or by phone, we process the information you provide. This includes your name, company, email address, optional phone number, message and the communication data required to handle your inquiry.

We process this data to handle your inquiry and take steps prior to entering into a contract or perform a contract under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other inquiries, we rely on our legitimate interest in reliable business communication under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Inquiry data is deleted when it is no longer needed to handle the inquiry and any follow-up questions. Statutory retention duties, particularly for business correspondence and billing records, remain unaffected.

When you book an appointment, we process the selected time and meeting type, as well as your name, company, email address, optional phone number and any message you provide. A phone number is required if you choose a phone call.

We use this data to plan appointments, prevent double bookings, prepare for and conduct the conversation, and handle related questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

After booking, we send confirmation by email. A calendar file is generated at your request; saving or importing it to your calendar takes place on your device and is subject to your calendar provider’s privacy terms.

Booking data is deleted when no longer needed for the appointment and any subsequent communication. Statutory documentation and retention requirements remain unaffected.

Appointment confirmations and business messages are sent through the viaverum.at mail server. This involves processing your email address, name, message content and technical delivery information.

Processing serves pre-contractual measures, contract performance and reliable communication under Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR. Emails and delivery information are retained only as necessary and in accordance with statutory retention duties.

We use carefully selected IT service providers as processors for hosting, database operation and technical provision. They may process personal data only on our instructions and to provide the agreed services.

If data is processed outside the European Economic Area, this takes place only where the conditions of Art. 44 ff. GDPR are met, particularly on the basis of an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Data is passed to other recipients only where necessary to perform a contract, required by law, based on your consent, or justified by an overriding legitimate interest.

This website currently does not use analytics, advertising or marketing tracking services. It does not embed social media feeds, maps, videos or fonts from external providers.

Any storage mechanisms strictly necessary for technical operation are used solely to provide and secure the website. Consent is not required for these under § 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021.

Links to external websites and social networks establish a connection with the respective provider only when you actively open the link. From that point, the provider’s privacy terms apply.

We process personal data only on a valid legal basis. Depending on the activity, this may include your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, pre-contractual measures or contract performance under (b), legal obligations under (c), or legitimate interests under (f).

We generally retain data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose. Beyond that, data may be retained where required by statutory periods, the establishment or defence of legal claims, or official orders.

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may withdraw consent at any time with future effect.

If you believe your data is being processed in breach of data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from loss, unauthorised access, alteration and disclosure. This website uses encrypted HTTPS transmission.
